The activity of environmental monitoring Centers, whose competence includes regular monitoring and analysis of the state of the environmental situation in the Russian Federation, assessment of human life conditions, animal and plant habitats, involves the use of the chromatographic method. It allows you to conduct routine analyses of natural pollutants and get reliable results.

Modern chromatographs allow to determine the concentration of phenols and chlorophenols in reservoirs, industrial, household and storm water; detect the content of various types of chemical compounds in the air (hydrocarbons, Gorenje products, nitrogen-containing PAHs, carbonyl compounds, chlorine and phosphorus compounds) and low-boiling aldehydes; identify the presence of toxic pesticides and their metabolites in the soil; and identify and perform calculations of the content of metals in water, sediments, air and soil in the form of volatile substances chelates.
